Discover the Art of Learning

The Art Lecture and Salon events for Older Adults are available as a single session, or as a monthly or quarterly series.

These sessions are joyful, inclusive, and bilingual—offered in both English and Spanish—and designed to be accessible to all, whether participants are lifelong art lovers or discovering art for the first time.

Each event includes:

A 50-minute visual lecture exploring the life and work of a major artist from Latin America, the U.S., or Europe

A 30-minute interactive “salon” for open discussion, reflection, and creative sharing where participants share their own thoughts and stories about art and life.

We want to make art available to everyone regardless of ability to pay and are here to work with you to help make it possible to bring our programming to your community.  We will work with you to make that happen.

What do we need to provide for the event?

All we need is a space with chairs, and ideally a room that can be somewhat darkened. We bring the rest - the visuals, the microphone, and the great storytelling!

Do you offer virtual art lectures?

Yes, we provide virtual art lectures using Zoom to engage audiences remotely, making art education accessible from anywhere.

Can family members of our older adults attend the events?

Yes, family members are welcome to join. These events are a wonderful opportunity to build community and  to involve their family members, children and even grand children in something they are excited about!
